Personal Pilates
My Pilates m.o. Personal Pilates sessions can be 1:1, or you can bring a friend and work out together. We’ll discuss your aims and any fitness concerns you have to begin with and then I will take you through a holistic workout, combining toning, flexing and strengthening exercises with a focus on breathing.
It may be that you are new to Pilates and would like a gentle introduction to the theory, exercises, terminology and benefits of the STOTT PILATES® method. Or perhaps you’ve been to Pilates mat classes before but would like to improve your technique or try out the Reformer or Stability Chair. If you’ve had a break from Pilates due to injury, having children or because of other priorities, I can re-introduce you, whatever stage you’re at, and ensure you work safely and to a level that suits you now.
Whatever your circumstances, I can tailor our 1:1 or 2:1 session to suit you perfectly. We can use the mat, Reformer, stability chair and other equipment including Pilates balls, hand weights, flex bands and circles to create a Pilates workout which meets your needs and capabilities, leaving you feeling re-energised, relaxed and with plenty of techniques in mind that you can use in your day to day life - for everything from better posture to stress management.
All the required equipment will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing. Leggings and a t.shirt or your regular gym wear is perfect.
