Pregnancy Pilates
At My Pilates M.O. we believe in the importance of a strong, mobile body through all stages of life, particularly when the demand put upon it, increases. Pilates is a wonderful all round exercise suitable for most people, through all stages of life. Pilates exercises can be adapted easily to support the changing body throughout pregnancy and the post natal period.

The Benefits of Postnatal Pilates:
Helps to improve and maintain Pelvic Floor function
Facilitates recovery of the abdominal muscles and Diastasis Rectus Abdominus (DRA or separation of the Linea Alba)
Strengthens and mobilises the body to cope with the demands of the postnatal period
Encourages group interaction with others in a similar situation
Can help to reduce anxiety and postnatal depression
Allows you to exercise mindfully and listen to your body, learning when to rest
Prices for pre & postnatal Pilates:
Group Classes: Pre Natal classes are booked in blocks of six for £72. Post Natal Foundation courses are usually booked in blocks of five for £80 this includes your initial consultation, studio classes and class recordings.
Pre & postnatal 1:1 (Mat, Reformer and large equipment Pilates): 1:1 Consultation (one hour) £45 | 1:1 Session £40 | A block of six 1:1 sessions £240
Pregnancy Pilates sessions can be booked by calling me directly. Pre Natal classes will take place at Healthspace in Bishops Waltham. Post Natal Foundation courses will take place at Damson Hill Cottage in Upper Swanmore. You will need to fill out a Pregnancy health questionnaire prior to taking to taking part in these classes.
